In
the OFF position, no battery current is drawn. This is how the switch
should be left when the receiver is not in use. When switched to the
ON
position, the receiver is active and drawing current from the battery.
In the
BATTERY TEST position,the condition of the battery under load is tested
and the results are available on the meter. Do not leave the switch
in this
position as the battery will be discharged in a few hours and will have
to be
replaced before further use of the receiver.
